Telecommunications EMC Testing

TelecommunicationTeseq is able to offer tailor made EMC test systems for any ETSI (or EN) telecommunications standards. The ESTI Standards are wide ranging and cover the vast array of telecommunications equipment available on the market today. Due to the range of telecommunications test system options, we can select ETS 300 301 487-7 as a typical system to illustrate the type of systems available. The title of this standard is as follows:

ETS 301 489-7: Electromagnetic compatibility and Radio spectrum Matters (ERM);Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) standard for radio equipment and services; Part 7: Specific conditions for mobile and portable radio and ancillary equipment of digital cellular radio telecommunications systems (GSM and DCS).

This is an important EMC standard for manufacturers or mobile phones. This system provides EUT (equipment under test) monitoring as per the ETS 301489-7 standard. Equipment is supplied to monitor the audio break-though. RXQUAL is monitored by the customer supplied Radio Test Set. Note: The 3G standard ‘3GPP TS. 124 V5.4.0’ is also covered by this system.
