Sales international are pleased to announce to have signed as per 1.1.2010 a distributor agreement with Rohde & Schwarz India for the important market India. This is not a general agreement with Rohde & Schwarz but solely covers the market India.
The Indian market is to be expected to grow continuously over the next years. To penetrate the market better it was necessary to extend our sales network all over India. R&S India have direct sales and support offices in Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mumbai, the major centres. They maintain a dedicated EMC support centre in Bangalore where also repairs and calibrations are performed.
R&S India is well positioned and obtains good contacts to Governmental Institutions,
National Laboratories as well as to major companies in the electronic sector. Most
sales in India are handled via tendering system. This procedure is known to R&S. The
tenders require often full supply coverage and our product range in addition to R&S India capabilities will offer the opportunity to supply complete solutions, which we lacked in the past.
