This range of low noise amplifiers is invaluable for low signal measurement applications, with their wide bandwidth, high gain and low noise figures. They are essential for radiated field strength measurements where spectrum analyzers are used together with broadband antennas as these have relatively high loss factors. The LNA series can be used to make significant improvements to overall system noise performance in many applications. The LNA 6900 is optimized for use with probes from 9kHz and its high gain is ideal for use with spectrum analyzers. The LNA 6000 amplifiers are designed mainly for use with measuring receivers where 12 dB are the first choice.
The RF-Preamplifier can be connected directly to the RF-Input (N) of the measuring
device. If the RF-Preamplifier is used with the SCR 35xx/SMR 45xx, the power supply
is provided directly by the receiver via the cable LE 237. Alternatively the power supply unit PSU 6000 can be used. The PSU 6000 is optionally available.
This low noise amplifier series replaced the RFP 4001 and RFP 4002 (obsolete from now) and the CPA 9231 and CPA 9232 (obsolete in near future).
